Promoting local programs that expand opportunities for new generations has always been a core value for 76.
This year, we continue our commitment by supporting the project launched in 2021 by former Serie B player and coach Ilaria Orlandini and coach Vincenzo Romano, with the aim of developing and innovating women’s basketball in Reggio Emilia. The initiative ensures young athletes can continue in sports beyond the age of 12, offering them a path for personal and technical growth, regardless of their level of experience or competitive ambitions.
Today, the project involves about 450 girls, spread across over 30 teams and engaged in five categories between Reggio Emilia and the province, thanks also to the contribution of Stefano Gualdi and the Italian Sports Center of Reggio Emilia. The program is enriched with meetings and training sessions, such as “TŲt al Mèr,” a two-day gathering held at Eurocamp in Cesenatico, which involved over 300 young athletes.
“This project,” emphasizes Elisa Mammi, “demonstrates how passion and determination can create virtuous collaborations between sports, businesses, and communities, contributing concretely to the development of local sports.”
