A DAY AT 76_ 2024: DE AMICIS SCHOOL OF MONTECCHIO EMILIA

“Complicating is easy, simplifying is difficult,” said Bruno Munari, one of the great figures in 20th-century art, design, and graphics.

Inspired by this teaching, on March 20th, we welcomed 50 children from the De Amicis primary school in Montecchio Emilia for an experiential journey within our facility. The goal? To clearly and entertainingly introduce the essence of our activities through workshops and tools specifically designed for 9-year-old students.

During the visit, the children experienced creating sculptures with scrap materials, discovered the magic of screen printing by watching the ink flow over the frame, and learned that waiting can turn into creativity, leading to projects that endure over time. The experience highlighted both the playful and educational aspects, stimulating curiosity, enthusiasm, and design skills in a welcoming and engaging environment.

The day concluded with a special moment: a visit from our founders, Iones Boniburini and Giancarlo Mammi, and a greeting from Mayor Fausto Torelli, making the experience even more memorable for all participants.
