On Saturday, 11 November, in the halls of Montecchio Emilia Castle (RE), we inaugurated the exhibition ‘380. Cinque x Settantasei’ (380. Five x Seventy-six), a project that speaks about us and that was born from the encounter between people of different ages, roles and experiences: the 60 employees of 76, five artists and the pupils of the third year classes of the E. De Amicis primary school in Montecchio Emilia. Together, we have created a choral narrative, made up of signs, colours and shared stories, which focuses on creativity, innovation and relationships.
At 76, we believe that doing business means much more than just manufacturing. For us, it means listening, planning together, being open to cross-pollination and creating bonds. Over time, design and planning have become fundamental tools in our work, capable of enhancing every decoration for vehicles and machinery. It is a journey that has led us to collaborate with artists, actively involve the people who work with us and share our knowledge with schools and local communities.
Curated by Caterina Ferrari, the exhibition brings together the works of artists who, over time, have interpreted a distinctive keyword for 76, together with the works of our collaborators and the pupils of the E. De Amicis primary school in Montecchio. Participants included Matteo Benassi (Riffblast), Giostra, Paola Rosi (Dubhe), Pamela Cocconi (Pamcoc) and Simonetta Scala. Alongside the works, we also presented a photographic exhibition by Collettivo 20 Luglio, which documented the CREATIVE-MENTI workshop, recounting some moments of sharing and experimentation experienced within our company. Each work provides an authentic glimpse into how we live our daily lives, recounting relationships, processes and our passion for doing.
‘380. Cinque x Settantasei’ was not just an exhibition, but an opportunity to tell the story of who we are: a company that combines ethics, technology and art, that puts people at the centre and recognises the value of business in its ability to create connections, emotions and new horizons.
